Dining with a Family

Experience the real Nazareth, its people, and culture by dining and relaxing with an Arab family in the heart of the Old City. The Fauzi Azar Inn now connects guests and travelers to the local Nazareth community in a new and exciting way!
About the Family
Hosting the dinner is Raida Saad, a Syrian-born Nazareth local who comes from a long line of Palestinian land-owners with a rich history. Her father, having made his living in the oil industry, was a resident of the area until 1947 when he moved to Syria to avoid the war. Raida is more than happy to share stories about her family’s history, tales of their travels throughout several Middle-Eastern countries, as well as answer questions about Arabic, Palestinian, or Islamic culture in general.
This is an intimate evening with other Fauzi Azar guests at the table of the Saadi’s Old City home for a traditional Arabic-style dinner, including tea and Arabic coffee.
